Description
Triple layered button up fixer jacket.
This print carries an image of laid fishing nets, shot through a PVC water-protecting filter in Piraeus, at 20:19, June 14, 2024
Featuring tonal black button closure in the front, and button fasteners at back hem for adjustable fitting. Plain straight yoke, two wide side welt pockets in front, short spread collar, buttoned cuffs, and black tonal stitching throughout.
The collection is an attempt to capture a moment, a specific window in time and space at the port of Piraeus.
From the ‘PIRAEUS GOLDEN HOUR’ collection.
In an expanded filmmaking logic, the collection grasps fragments of the dreamy atmosphere, the liquidity and textures of this one specific evening at the port at golden hour. Shot simultaneously in different locations at the area through an analog PVC filter, the images carried in the collection’s prints, elsewhere abstract or representational, grasp the colors and the materiality of the different elements, objects (buoys, trucks, nets and knives used by the local fishermen) and infrastructure of this port, which has been a recurring subject matter and theme in SERAPIS’ output over the years.
