Description

The ‘Scylla’ mobile chair is a collaborative piece of SERAPIS x ASTRONAUTS, and is currently showcased in ALCOVA Miami as part of our newly launched presentation titled Hybris Astern.

It is composed of the ASTRONAUTS hydroformed metallic structures, combined with the SERAPIS ‘Rust’ jacquard woven Greek cotton fabric.

Drawing on the two collectives’ shared maritime references and respective specialisms in metal and textile, the installation ‘Hybris Astern’ features limited-edition furniture and ornaments. Chairs, vases, silk wall hangings, and a mobile pendant embody our textural and photographic narratives, reflected in jacquard upholsteries and digitally printed silks.
